Lovely Katie .. I like the one red roof .. it anchors the greens while the black and white balance the blue/green dominance of color. There are a couple of real nice resting spots and I can't say which I like best but I'm thinking it's the black and white near the center. Great piece of art.

thanks, I'm hoping to try to start painting some more this year as I painted this one a while ago. I'm moving house this month so I want to get settled before I get all my painting stuff out. Glad you like it.

great to see your work again Katie, its been a while. The tension between the red and green roof balances the whole piece. Good luck with the move, hope it proves to be inspiring

Oh wow that's wonderful! I love the jumble of buildings in their green foliage surroundings. If you happen to have any close-ups I'd love to admire the texture a little more too.

I would just say what they said above. Good to see your work again Katie. Superb.

Beautiful and interesting to look at! A viewer could spend some time with this painting.

I will see what I can do.

I love this! Cool balance between intention and spontaneity, if I am reading it correctly. Love it.

Beautiful and facinating. Love the glimpses of the jumble of houses with tin rooves thru the greenary. Strong design. Like the odd details adding realism like the washing.

I can see the roller parts and love the technique in all of it. It's a really great piece! :)

What is the size of it?

Wow! This is a stunner! I love seeing the brush and roller marks, and every bit of that texture. Your palette is beautiful, and the bit of red is brilliant. Gorgeous! ❤️

A lovely, piece, Katie. So nice to see your work again! This follows my theory that a little spot of bright red somewhere can really make a painting.
