Thanks, Donna! I have painted very little nocturnes so I wanted to try and see how it goes.

PaintBoss, thanks! This structure is glowing light at night so it's quite spectacular to see in real. It also has quite complicated structure so I had to simplify and decide what to leave out, after all my support is fairly small.

This is a great painting, moscatel. The night lights against the buildings look very realistic against the night sky.

Yes the contrast with the dark sky and spires is very effective. Like the bright yellow, the detailed architectural elements supported with suggested elements.
