I especially like the third one of these!Tonight's abstracts, A4 on acrylic paper. 2 geometric-ish landscapes from my trip to Brisbane last week. 2 self portraits. Enjoying the beach life.

How did I miss this one? I love all of these!Sounds of ... bush. I've been on a mini road trip. Wednesday was a bit long. To fill in a few hours I created these A4 oil paintings on paper.
1. My grand girls bush walking on the farm
2. Reflections in the dam
3. Almost Top down view, 60 degree angle, of Agnes Water down to the waters edge. Very abstract. View attachment 44854View attachment 44855View attachment 44856
It's Ayin, not Ayen. Thanks Ayen Es. I'm debating with myself to keep going, or letting it sit for 3 years
I really don't know Donna, but your posts are so wonderful. Make me feel elated, when I'm often thinking "what the hell are you doing!"My jaw has dropped. How do you do that, Jennie? Those images are amazing! You can see beyond a photo and you can see beyond reality. I tried to do one for this challenge (in the style of an artist) and it bombed miserably. It's hard enough to think of painting abstractly in my own style and apparently too much for me to try on someone else's style!
Hi Jennie, i’ve been meaning to do more painting this month, but I just have not been well. I had committed to doing the Christmas card exchange and I barely got my cards made. But pretty pumped that I did ,so I’ve been meaning or hoping to do something for your wonderful challenge. I don’t think I’m gonna be able to do it. But if you don’t mind, I tried to find things that I’ve done in the past that may be of interest. These are all tiny miniatures. They remind me of some of your stimulus subjects. Honestly, I just had fun mucking around. That is one good thing about miniatures. I find I’m more daring than with bigger pieces and I complete things more easily. I guess it’s just not much if you don’t like it when it’s 2.5 x 3.5”. What happens usually is I find I am doing something I never thought of, but end up liking! This is watercolour, but there may be a little bit of gouache too. I am intrigued about trying some artwork following some of the artists you have mentioned when able. So I’m glad you put those seeds in my head.

Your works are wonderful. I managed some extended hours for small works, not quite miniatures. They're something I'd like to try. Glad my stimulus subjects worked. Sometimes it is riskier to experiment with larger works.Hi Jennie, i’ve been meaning to do more painting this month, but I just have not been well. Not sure what happened above. Things going haywire. And I can't get my painting to load.it keeps opening my previous post.Your works are wonderful. I know. Sometimes I get really worried they might infect other works.Very cool mini paintings, Christine! These would look great matted and framed! I hope you'll be feeling better soon and maybe even well enough to start more work.
Jennie, there you go with the vibrant colors and graceful lines again. I think your "Going Haywire" phrase is a great name for a painting!
Thanks Christine. I might pop it into a frame and see how it looks over time.Oh, I really love that one. I think it works!
