Ty!!!I really like it!
Ty!!!I really like it!
Ty! The first one is the first one I tried…my “style” is kinda graphic and I think I tried too hard to make it look like that. The second one I completely wiped everything in the bottom half and started from scratch…Tollertwins -Wow, that’s an amazing piece! I like the design and the colors you are using, especially the turquoise/magenta interaction. The first one you posted is interesting too but I like the way the second one seems more connected or coordinated, maybe something to do with the repeating mandalas. Keep them coming!
Not bad at all. I really like a lot of aspects of these.Added a bit of green to complement the reds. Guess I have sort of a split complement going? Eg red/green: orange/turquoise?
Anyway, putting this one away as prolly done and will look at it in a few days,..View attachment 44680
Mini globe!I was travelling when I did this one. 30 minutes over lunch under some trees. Digital edit of 2 or 3, can't recall, oil paintings. This is the only original pic I can find right now. It's the base for another oil painting. Not cropped so there's some other items visible too.

Thanks Ayen Es. I'm debating with myself to keep going, or letting it sit for 3 yearsI really love that pink one JennieJo! Just my thing.
Thanks Christine. I was happy with my exploration results. All very cool. I like the gallery ones especially the yellow one. Feel spiritual to me.
Donna, I love how you explain my art. I have the concepts but am still learning how to get to the details. Light is what I'm trying to learn more about at the momentYou did some good things with that gallery photo, Jennie! I have no idea how you did them but those images are sort of like the bare essentials of light in the photo - interpreted with your color sense.
That or maybe with a bit more editing a Christmas decoration.Mini globe!
Thanks Christine. That one surprised me.Intriguing work. Your inspiration, and your expression of what you are seeing/ experiencing. The last one is great my favourite
Thanks Donna, I had been moving away from creating more abstract works. These challenges have reminded me how good they are for me.You seem to have no problem with abstracting things, Jennie. I especially like knowing that the graceful shapes in the first one are your grand girls in motion. All are very cool images!
