Mix brown

What (oil) colors do you mix to get browns?
Yellow Ochre + Indian Red make a rich mahogany, Venetian Red might work almost as well.

Reds yellows and blues make brown, you just need to mix until you get the color you want. Your YO and IR will make a darker brown with a bit of blue added. Always introduce new colors in very small increments.

I found 2 other beautiful browns: transparent oxide red + Indian yellow and transparent oxide brown + Indian yellow.

Those are all transparent colors and should make beautiful browns, depending on what you want them for.
