I included a handwritten letter with the picture, explaining that I can't really paint but a story is in there.

Yesterday, Jane from JG Melon NY, called me here in the UK and we had a very special, friendly natter.

She started by saying how the picture I sent made her smile and the start to her day, was thus, a very happy one.

I replied saying..if it made her smile... that means everything to me.

She asked about how and why I came to paint and send such a pic and we chatted.
