Indoor Cape/Poncho

Hello. I have just got yarn for a new project, a cape to wear indoors when it’s cold. The pattern is free on-line and the yarn is 100% acrylic, super chunky weight. I aim to start it in between knitting the sleeves for the grey Aran jumper I’m knitting. I’ve had to order a 9mm circular needle as I haven’t got one that big.

Started the knitting. I don’t like knitting with such large guage needles, on the other hand it should knit up quickly. Doing 6 rows plain before starting stocking stitch.
