I always thought that in today's world, art was irrelevant. But this mural showed me it is.

It is a powerful image, and the fact that they are trying to erase it shows how important Art still is.

I guess it's not irrelevant when it's blatantly painted on the royal courts of justice. He could of painted it on any wall in London, but the publicity is good, which I'm sure was the intention. 🙂
 
Ha Ha they look as though they are playacting. I wonder if they are ever washed - the wigs I mean.
 
Opinion is always relevant. How you express it can make a whole difference. And Art makes any expression more powerful, as does a good sense of opportunity. Banksy is a master.

The thing that blows my mind is all the social media and TV, one painting on the wall made the biggest statement.

Let's face it: Regardless of intent or message, popularity and publicity have always determined the power of art, or the lack of it.
