Seems lately that my work, especially in terms of media and materials, has been drifting all over the place. Makes sense to start posting my paper cutting in the mixed media forum. This started as a simple paper cutting but I really wanted to push the color saturation, almost to appear as luminous. The paper cutting was colored with gold marker and the feathers are colored with Prismacolor pencils. The background is dark green quilting fabric, as I wanted to go with a dark background but not full black.
