Another weekend, another little batch of sketchbook paintings that you can see bellow done from life. Few days ago I received some goodies from a local farm - some beets, peas (10 lb of them!), potatoes, seasonal fruits etc so beside some organic, fresh, healthy food - they can be used as models too, so nothing goes to waste

Wow. You are good at this. Beets is my fave .. something about the background gives it a happy feel .. plus I love Beets.

Such beautiful work! The strokes of accent colors in the backgrounds are amazing. They add a little zing up close but when viewed from a distance they just blend in. I love how you orchestrate edges from hard to soft to totally lost. You are obviously having fun with these, Zoran.
