from last week .. been and still down with a wicked soar throat from hell .. tested for COVID but negative on three consecutive days.
I get to talk to a Doctor this afternoon the phone. 2 weeks for an appointment 3 weeks for a walk in and no emergency unless you show up in an er if you can get one. We are in a mess for medical relief. And then there are the 100 thousand without a doctor.

Lucky me got to talk to my doctor and got my Medecine faxed in to my drug store. I can't help but anguish for all the people in our country that don't have one.

As for health thank you all. With my medication I remember pulling the sheet over me and then waking up this morning. What a sleep! The pain is muted so it's quite bearable now and my throats is opening up. I feel really good knowing that I am on the road to recovery. I'm a lucky man.

Another beautiful painting. I'm so sorry to hear you're feeling sick like this. So many people I know have either caught Covid, or feel like they have. It's been bad, and I think I just got over what you are describing after having the most recent booster shot. Hang in there. I hope the doc can give you something for some relief!

Thank you Ayin and Sno, I forgot to mention that was the last painting before I got this crap. I am hoping later today or tomorrow to give it a try.

Ayin, he is treating it as a bacterial infection as I had 3 successive days of COVID testing; all negative. But when I read the symptoms of COVID, I would think it is COVID. I don't think we know the truth of it all but that's me. I came down to my music and pc room and after an hour of working out the chords of one song I am exhausted. The treatment is working but it will take a little more time. In the meantime I could sell a new quick weight loss diet. I lost over 10 lbs in 6 days. I could stand to lose another 10 from the old man belly but weight is not a concern of mine at this time in my life.

Tip of the day: for future emergency: stock you shelves with a half dozen or more boxes of jello. It's the only thing that goes down properly and it feels so good on the throat.

I am feeling better. My throats is opened so I can swallow, most of the pain is eased off, and yesterday I got about 3, or 4 hours of actually playing my guitar and I made a painted. Just crawled out of bed and feel good today. Groggy from pills but I have a week to go before I am finished them. I am on the down side of the bump so things will happen fast now. Lucky to have a doctor who gets the job done.

So happy you're feeling a bit better. And that's great you have a competent doc. That's so important these days. My doctors (primary ones) are just so-so. The specialists are much better. Jello is great when you're feeling sick. I should remember that. Sorry about the unwanted weight-loss, but maybe you'll like how you look after this is all over? I'd certainly welcome it!

Thanks Ayin. My doc is good and if he don't know he'll get you to a specialist it need be. I asked if he had anything to knock me out for a few days and he said he had a mallet in his shed. I gracefully declined and with his consultation used a few sleeping pills instead. Over 10% of all Nova Scotia have no access to a doctor. That is jarring as NS is the home of a lot of elder people. Yes, doctors are like the rest of the professions .. some good, most mediocre and in it for the money and just putting in time.
