Curves, Sticks & Flower - SpBtSeries

Still intermittently fooling around with the elements of this series.
The 'sticks' are collages and the flower is an actual Louisiana Iris blossom that I just laid on the painting.

Looks like nothing is set in stone at this time. Very interesting to see this.

At first I though the comp was weak but once I looked the piece over I got entangled in the web of bars and it took time to get out. Anything that holds the viewer is good in my book.

I agree with Wayne in that the composition was not as good as when you started to add the sticks. Then it became a lot more exciting. I really love it now. The colors are joyful!
