Chat about the Earths' current climate...

The earth is not round as a sphere, it's more like the shape of a grapefruit, I watched the most amazing documentary about how three French scientists during the 18th century tested this theory through measuring latitude and longitude at the equator and other locations, brave men they were indeed. It was known as, The French Geodesic Mission.

My friends, enjoy your life as much as you can and be grateful you aren't a little kid, because humanity has screwed the pooch. Even if we could ameliorate the situation with new technology, which is certainly possible, money talks and bullshit walks. Humans are just no good at long range planning if it interferes with short term profits--and it always does.

For what it is worth, my take on our planet circling the sun perfectly suitable to sustain human conditions seems....unrealistic.
