Digital oils with Artrage Vitae. 1100x1100 pixels.

I laid down color roughly in the fur area and blended with the default palette knife. I started with a freehand sketch in digital pencil on its own layer. The painting was done in multiple layers, worked topmost layer back. I finished with the ink tool for the whiskers.

This was painted for a challenge on WetCanvas this week.
