Managed some quiet time on my easel From photos taken while on a walk near Shepherds lookout, Canberra.
Pastelmat 30x40cm mostly Sennelier, some Remmys. Its not 100% accurate but close.
I feel like I finally managed an "abstracted-realism" feel of the mid-deeper landscape.
Odd that the photo doesnt do the colours justice, again loosing the brights esp the greens.

Gorgeous view, Murray! Lovely distance and atmosphere.
It's so tricky with the photographs.
 
Simply perfect. Love it. I think my best photos of pastels are taken in direct sunlight. I find very little correction needed.
 
Once again you have captured the Australian-ness of the landscape- well done!
 
I just wanted to add that you've got the blue hue above the trees spot on..
