Being and Becoming

Well, that's the title for now

I started this last year and now have decided to see if I could finish it. It's not as dark as the photo seems...

Love the title, and the work of course! The light and dark/colors and now I'm even noticing the pink outlines more. So good! ❤

Thanks Carol. Those lines are mostly Conté that then get sealed with acrylic gel. I’m getting sort of addicted to doing that

Thanks Sno. I’ve worked with several models who, like this one (Ruth), just make me want to paint several facets of them in the same painting. They tend to be multi-faceted, so a single representation never feels to be enough.
