In this particular series of studies I will use only the colors below for my palette;
I am ahead of my week but 10 is the limit and this is close enough .. I think it time
to start a new Triad anyway. You can get some real cool color schemes using
this triad. Yes, I used the same stencil if you will for the compositions but I am not
interested in comp or basically overall execution. I am studying color .

I only learn by doing, not watching.
Observation is my window, experience my teacher, and perseverance is the price.

French UltraMarine Blue, PB29 Lemon Yellow PY3 Primary Red PV19 Titanium White PW4 • PW6
They are all 11 x 14 inches .. oil on paper .. alla prima .. knife/brush .. paintied over the last 4 or 5 days .. I can't honestly remember.

green Fields.. blue hills .. tall trees .. tall trees 2 .. tall trees 3 .. tall trees 4 .. tall trees 5

Youve got some very interesting harmonious colour combinations from this set Wayne. Very nice. The suggested details from the knife work and emotion is a joy. Beautiful.(y) Impossible to pick out a favourite.

I agree, some beautiful color harmonies, Wayne. The fifth one is particularly attractive to me with its color contrasts. Pardon my ignorance but what color is PW6?

Thanks Arnie, Iain, Donna, and Sno

Donna it is listed as a second pigment in Titanium White. WN Artist Paint

Blue I s a well liked color.

Sno... that one talks atmosphere with a smirk.

The second one is my favorite for design and distance. I like your color variations. Beautiful.

thank you John, Ayin, and Terri, Amo, and Bart

I thought I had lost view of my abstract trail so I did a bunch of these similar stencils. That way I could learn more about the colors on my palette and why I need them while I went looking for my mojo.

Thank you OleKobe

Stluke..you could be right. 😂 Some are half done. Must count for something.m
Alphonse Mucha. .. must have been a major influence on you.
