B&W Alcohol Markers Portrait

I just made a little editing to balance white and lightness of this picture, taken the other day with my smartphone (which I am terrible at using).

The portrait is based on a black and white photo of Ashley Jude, though, in the end, it is loose portrait, since my purpose was to assess my understanding of the blending techniques with markers.

I used promarker brush of Winsor & Newton on a Strathmore Marker sheet.

Thanks for watching

I have no idea who Ashley Jude is, and how she looks. But I like your sketch very much. The pose, the details and the blending are all lovely.

Thanks. Your words are encouraging. The most difficult parts were the soft shading on the face, the neck and the clavicula. Which are the parts where I focused 75% of my efforts for this little piece.
