That reminded me of a tendency I have of enjoying the technical aspects of my sound system and camera as much as actually listening to music and taking photos. I derive great pleasure from reading reviews of the latest high end HI-FI and photography equipment.

Ah, the blessing and the curse of the internet! One is never completely finished "researching purchases". In addition to my hobbies of creating art and collecting supplies, I can add a third hobby of reading about and researching supplies.
