Thank you, Vivien! I hope one of the new Challenges inspires you to reach for a brush soon! Thanks for this Patricia! I havent been posting or painting for a while, but this new Challenge is wanting me to get into it again.
Good idea to have all the Sites Challenges together, well done Creative Spark!
Love your Inktense work Anne!Without realizing it, I did the lion cub again! I knew I had done one recently but didn't realize it was the same challenge. (I love painting lions.)
I did this version differently though. This is just inktense without any ink lines. I think I like this one better.
This was an extremely limited palette. I just used Baked Earth and Deep Indigo which would be the Inktense version of Burnt Sienna and French Ultramarine.
This one is about 7 1/2" x 7 1/2" in XL Mixed Media sketchbook.

Good thanks Patricia, how are you now?Hi Viv, It's very nice to see you, how are you ?
Cheers

Lovely fish paintingHere is my blue spotted rabbit fish in watercolor, 11 x 8, on Arches 140CP. I was determined to do the BG in one go. I tried rubbing alcohol over the wet wash in the BG to try to get some texture, but maybe the wash was too wet. It also caused a wee bit of bleeding of the paint onto the other side of the paper. Fortunately it is minimal and I can use the other side.
