Thanks Donna luckily despite not being a naturally patient person, I found I really switch off making crochet (and it's satisfying to achieve different things - plus free gifts for the kids in my family!).

Thanks for looking at my things. I called it: "Itty, bitty, teenie, weeny, googley eye bikini” and no, I never wore it. It is made with cotton blend. probable could be but I made it on a whim.
all of my felted items are also crocheted.

I had several pieces that were framed and it was advised to take them out of the frames. Here are two that I redid.
What are you working on?

They're both beautiful. Lovely colours and textures .. Do you plan them or let it happen? I've only done amigurumi for the five years I've been crocheting but have some nice aran yarn so am starting some fingerless gloves atm. Then another ice cream van for a niece's birthday.

I do plan the colors and embellishments but the actual crocheting part is somewhat follow the movement of the piece.
will look forward to seeing your fingerless gloves.
I am sure your niece will be over the moon for their ice cream van.

That makes sense. I think it's nice to freestyle it too and see what happens. I'll try that one day. I actually gave up on the fingerless gloves today and will give the yarn to charity. I seem to just like making amigurumi! Onto another sonic the hedgehog next (which I'd forgotten about) and then the ice cream van. Nice to chat crochet!
