Yesterday I read an old tutorial regarding dots and washes. your painting incorporated the mark making in that tutorial.

Glad you are finding it helpful ntl. I have learned a lot from Alphonso Dunn on youtube. He has a lot of tutorials on pen and ink. I also have two of his books. He doesn't do much with line and wash so I have looked at other examples for that.
