A Rural Scene

This is an approximately 20 cms x 15 cms ink and wash sketch on 140 gsm cartridge paper. The scene is a generic one, typical of many parts of India. I used a reference photo from a newspaper article or advertisement, but failed to note the accompanying information. I would guess that the photograph was taken either in Kerala or Maharashtra, two states on the West coast of India.
