Nilgiri Tahr

This is an A5 size pen and ink sketch with a flex nib pen, based on a newspaper photograph. The Nilgiri Tahr is found only in India, usually at an altitude of 1200 to 2600 meters in the Western Ghats of Kerala and Tamilnadu, two states in Southern India.

Oh, how wonderful that you are now producing excellent animal drawings! The well observed shading really gives it a three dimensional look. Nice light touch with the distant receding mountains for scale.
