a request from my daughter..

to paint her favourite scene. She spent her teenage years in our small seaside town and now lives with her husband and kids 4 hours away. She asked for a view of Gulaga- Mother Mountain to our local indigenous people. She specifically wanted it to be long and narrow with the timber edge of the panel showing. It now hangs above her bed.
Oil on panels (2 joined together) 40cm x 100cm (16 x 40 inches)

Donna- I appreciate this generous comment! I got up early to take the photos- the sun was hitting the mountain just right. I wasn't sure about the panel showing- but that's what she wanted.
