Working with an iPad,

Most of my recent work has been done on the Procreate App. If you don’t know of Procreate, this: “Procreate lets you generate high-caliber artwork at a blistering pace using a robust layering system, stunning filters, and thousands of importable brushes”.

There are a number of reasons for me liking it.
1: I had a good sized studio but changed residence and life style which meant less space.
2: I just didn’t feel like dealing with paint and canvas and everything that goes with it: the cleaning up, the cost of materials, etc.
3: Setting up each time I wanted to paint.
4: The ease of just sitting down any time of day and night and beginning, and doing it anywhere as long as I have the iPad.
5: The ease in erasing and redoing things, saving an image, copying an image, never a problem for waiting for things to dry or remove mistakes.

And probably many other things I’m not really conscious of.

One of the obvious downsides is no tactile result. But these days my objective is the image. If I want I can have it printed on good art paper.

If you have questions then ask away.
