Vivianite?

Has anyone tried vivianite as a watercolor pigment? A friend posted about using it in acrylics and I did some research on it because it's an earth blue, sometimes known as blue ochre. Daniel Smith used to carry it in their watercolors, but now they don't. Apparently it changes color, becoming darker with exposure to light. I like it's bluish grey color and sent for some powdered pigment from Australia, one of the places where it's mined. I just wondered if anyone had used it, including the Daniel Smith version when it was out there.

Nope, never heard of it either. That said, I would generally steer clear of pigments that change under influence of light.

Never heard of it either, I like the look of it though (I love granulating colours)
