Out at Bean Hollow State Beach in Pescadero, CA with our painting group. 12x9" gouache on paper; 8.5x5.5" watercolor & ink on paper. B. Charlow 2026. I still don't have much feeling for gouache, but it's not terrible.

We have a string of beaches that are all beautiful. Some of the most accessible and paintable locations in this part of California. Not famous though, which is a good thing for us!
However, my wife and son are starting to see my work as too repetitive in subject and treatment. I would agree. Have to swap up locations a bit.
