Two from Black Friday

Our Burlingame Plein Air Painters has a tradition of skipping the Black Friday sales and painting outdoors instead. Have to work off the turkey somehow!
Two from today at Mori Point in Pacifica, CA. 12x9" hard pastel on multimedia paper: 10x3" gouache on multimedia paper. The latter is continuing proof that I cannot handle gouache.

That's why I call it "go-wacky"!
(And to tease my wife! She studied advertising art in school before computers were The Only True Way, back when gouache was the medium of choice.)

Good on you to try this medium, Bart! I do like the trees, both the colors and lines. You captured nice movement.

Black Friday doesn't do much on my end, either.
