No. It was not painted on location. I was inspired to paint this subject after seeing a newspaper photograph and used it as reference, but made some changes to it in my painting.

Kay... Most of the time I use Chitrapat watercolour paper for my serious watercolourwork. This comes in two weights 270 gsm and 440 gsm and two textures, matt and rough. The matt texture looks like canvas, but the rough variety is the better product.
