There is always a story but you need to read between the lines. Maybe she is just an old lady sharing time with her friend in the chair who is not longer there. Maybe she is dreaming of a reunion someday or maybe she is just reliving old memories.

Another quiet, moody piece - love it. I thought she was missing whoever used to keep her company in that chair - maybe a spouse, maybe a cat. The way you connected all the darks makes for a strong composition.
