I think I'm done throwing stuff on this painting now. I surprised myself by actually making some straight lines by hand on the rays.

Love it!! Did you use tape?

Thanks Don. No, what looks like yellow tape - the rays - is gouache with a flat brush and a mahl stick but the design lines on the rays was free handed with a rigger. I don't consider my hand to be very steady and sure like some painters have so I was surprised I free handed something straight for once.
 
Wonderful. You sure brightened it up. It's unexpected because you gave a couple examples of sort of blending some orange into it, and now you made more clarity instead, which has taken this piece to another (better) level! Thanks Ayin. I sure threw the color at it. I think because of the grey winter here in NY I wanted some. Having fun trying stuff. I know you can relate to that. :)
