Oh yes that is a great summer scene Arty! 💜I love your stuff. There is so much of a story implied in your work. And it’s always visually interesting.
Great colours Kay.
This is a 30 second figure drawing.
Next. People in any form.

You’re such cool ideas Arty! Love it. Your work always is telling a story. But it has other elements in it that I think I know what the story is, but the more I look, the more it implies. For instance, I see joyfulness, playfulness, youth here. And 2 black balls. Then I think oh, are those two black holes instead? Like how we can sometimes innocently and naïvely happily be skipping along (usually when we’re young) and find ourselves unexpected in a bad spot. Life throws up a big obstacle or problem or experience. And talking about a bad spot, then i wonder just how bad is it? How deep is that black hole? How dark and impenetrable is it? That’s something to contemplate - it could have lots of different meetings. Represents all kinds of trials and tribulations or states of mind. Like I said, I love your work.
A lot of stuff I sold I don’t have on my phone. I’ve had my old computer packed in my basement for three years. I was not using it very much once I got my little iPad. So I don’t have many photos. I’m thinking about opening it up, but my daughter says it’s almost obsolete even though I bought it was barely used and was only a few years before moving. Anyways, then I can get into my external hard drive and get some pictures of my sold artwork. But to move any here I have to connect it to the Internet and I’m hoping that will work. Even with a ton of updates. My daughters put me on notice that it may not work or I may get a lot of problems. Neither one of us are computer people to know what will happen.
Here’s what I sold a while back that I have on my camera. I’ve done a lot of things that I’ve given away. This one really changes colour with the light.

Christine, what a beautiful painting! It's simple and complex at the same time, and I can see what you mean about how it changes depending on the light it receives.

Thank you so much for your words about my last artwork post. Yes, those were meant to be black holes and a semi-humorous take on jumping (or falling) from one black hole to the next. Or being between a rock and a hard place with no hope in sight. LOL! I don't usually say what any particular piece is all about, but that's what I had in mind here. I actually made a kind of trypich of this one (there are two other pieces this one was sold with), all having black holes in them.

What is the next sketch?
