Sometimes, hope is just waiting for the eyes which can see...
(Somewhat influenced by Andre Norton's stories.)

Size: 10x16
Medium: Oil Pastels, Charcoal, Char-Kole, colored pencils

"Char-Kole" is a charcoal product from Weber-Costello. It's about the size and shape of pastel sticks. It goes on a lot darker than vine charcoal (tree trunks vs. ground and sky).

Cool!! That's a fun concept and you executed it well. I love that charcoal landscape!

Awesome! It's got a great surreal vibe, and very well executed. It reads well and is also an aesthetic scene. I like this very much!

Love this and love the "story" it tells. ❤️❤️
Thanks! Looking at the original, I see that not many people have passed through – no trodden-down grass on the other side.
As a youth I was intrigued by Ms. Norton's Witch World stories, where there were portals between worlds, which would transport you to a world that fit your personality.
