During a water shortage in LA, people were encouraged to conserve water. A friend came up with a sign for the bathroom to save water:
Poo Do, Pee Don't. -- meaning don't flush after you pee only after pooping.

While my car was being serviced I went to this coffee shop owned by Chinese immigrants. The entrance had the typical double glass doors, but the one on the left wasn't working, so they had hung a sign:
"USE ANOTHER DOOR".
Usually in that situation we would say "use the other door." I thought about "correcting" them, but "use another door" did get the idea across so I just used the "another" door and sat down.
