This is a quick, 14 cms x 10 cms pen and ink sketch, of a couple of students sketching on location at Dakshina Chitra, a living cultural and heritage museum in Chennai. I had gone there some days ago with my first year college students as part of their induction programme.
Your sketches are so enjoyable. Approximately how long did this take? If I may be so inquisitive to ask, do you have many that you are not pleased with and don't post? The quality of your work is always so good.

I am not sure how long this one took. I was seated at the entrance of one of these units, right in front of the door, sketching this scene. And I was interrupted several times because there were several busloads of school children, and college students wanting to go past me to enter the door that I was inadvertently blocking. Dakshina Chitra is on a 10 acre (4 hectare) site and I moved around making five sketches over a two and a half hour stay there. And this included taking several group photos and random photos too. My guess is that it probably took around twenty minutes.
I have retained all the sketches and paintings that I have made since 2002, when I took to sketching as one of my prime hobbies. I try and date every drawing, regardless of whether I am happy with with it, or not, so that I can track my progress. And I usually share all of them. On Creative Spark I have shared only very few of the sketches and paintings that I did before joining CS in Sept 2021.
