I can only think in metric.

The secret when making big sculptures is to make the entire piece from one homogeneous piece of clay, so I used to wedge around 30 to 40 kilos of clay using the cut and slam wedging technique. As you can imagine, I had a well-developed upper torso and arms when I was making these pieces.
