Something unusual

Something slightly more realistic this time around and I wasn’t even trying.
I love when paintings come this easy to to me, these are always the most enjoyable.
For the sketch I used a reference, but not while painting.
I only used gouache and no metallic colors this time around, which is quite uncommon for me.
Also I usually don’t go this in detail, but here I had so much fun.

I see how you find it unusual for you, but it really is an extension of your usual work- it is definitively YOUR work.

Good color use, and the expression is just terrific- as if it is early morning, coffee's gone and she is going to make the best of her day, but is pretty sure she'll fail....
