Number 5 in the continuing series of SoCal; The Chaos after the Big One Hits. The urban environment could be rendered unrecognizable. It has the power to reduce man made structures into a few chaotic lines and coloured patches.

I agree with Sno. It defies explanation of any kind. The work stands beautifully on its own merits. :)
 
This appeals to me as a sort of marine/harbor abstract of windjammer days.

Masts, yardarms, rigging,sails, spars, clouds and calm water.
All somehow peaceful and soothing. It must be that smooth gray backgound.

I like it.

Now that you mention it, I do see the ships rigging. Thanks for the feedback.
