Sweet! I love these white flowers. From white, anything is possible.

They are all lovely, but I'm noticing that my eye keeps returning to the middle one. There's a quality of light in that one that I'm really enjoying.

Thank you Donna .. I wiped these in by wiping the background color in and leaving the drawing exposed and then added the color for the flowers and vase.

I appreciate the “how to” information too - thanks, Wayne. Does a thin background layer make it easier to manipulate the edges on white flowers without having them get muddy with background color? I always wonder how oil painters do that.

Thanks Donna .. what I do is paint the white into the background and then pull background back into the white.,, ever so random with slight to strong pulls.
