Thanks to both for complimenting. Looking close you can see most of the brush marks. I strive to not blend the paint, rather let the brush marks remain and relate to the adjacent color.
This is one technique of Impressionism. However, IMO true pure Impressionism also involves that technique using compliment color brush strokes side by side causing the viewers eye to mix the color. Accomplished by Monet, Pissarro, Sisley, Caillebotte, and some others. IMO, The style movement has been over applied to other painters.
