9 x 12 inches .. oil on paper .. alla prima .. painted Nov 20/24 ... a shore line in NS .. an old photo reference from my self

Thank you Sno. I am now in my Vincent mode so reality of color is not a particular need. Making a painting with soul is more to the point. That much color in the water, sky, and hills makes me smile and feel good. 😁
Thank you John and Bart

Cool. Not sure about the purple far shore but what the hey? If in a Vincent mode all bets are off. Impressive knife work as usual. Still no wood fairy though. Probably can't be done by knife.........not that I'm daring you or anything.. ;)

Actually the whole thing was done with brushes. 😁
..you will never see a wood ferry but if you look there is an old man washed up on the shore. Nobody cares, just a poor man, maybe a bum, or just some old unfortunate fisherman.

Harsh, dude...harsh! πŸ˜†

I think this painting is nothing but fun. It has a more wild and free feeling to it than I'm used to seeing. The huge sweeping cloud, the movement in the sky, the purple horizon - all fabulous!

I hope you stay in your Vincent mode awhile. This is fun!

This Vincent mode is working for you, Wayne! The colors and the brush strokes give this such an exuberant feel. I love how the diagonal cloud interacts with the pine tree; something good is happening there.

no fairy ... what comes comes .. it's my brushstroke that makes things appear .. weird but true. I have no control over what shows up and I usually find them after I post ..

I noticed some brush marks in the sky and couldn't believe it! Ha. Very bright and happy painting. β™₯️
