Thank you Donna. I use reds in the yellows or blue. Yellow is yellow: very weak I put yellow ochre in with them as well as it has body.
Been studying the style of Fechin and it seems I belong there. Not to say we paint the same but I see where he came from and understanding the method is key. He is a master at abstract realism. I just made that up but it suits how he paints and I’m going there on my next journey.
