Scavenger Hunt from Life #181: Jan 21 - Feb 2

Joan the perspective in the coffee shop, and the colors, are wonderful. Makes me feel like I'm there!

Here's that print. 9x12" is too big to fit in my scanner so I photographed it. The photo is from February 2012 and the print I made last week is a cyanotype ( prussian blue ) which was then soaked in tea made from eucalyptus leaves to change the blue into warm brown and black tones. Fun!

Good heavens, Ned - what a gorgeous print! You know a photo geek like me just eats this stuff up with a spoon. 😂 Beautiful job!

@Joan T - you're very welcome! Your hope is our hope. :)

@Jo Castillo - sure thing, Jo!

Thanks Terri :) I got a copy of Annette Golaz's book "Cyanotype Toning: Using Botanicals to Tone Blueprints Naturally" and I've been having fun trying different plants from here. Each one is different!

Joan: Thanks. Yes, that coconut snacking by canal, had a few people commented that I did it with ease. I must have felt relax, just to be there, and the sketch come out better I expected. I love the coffee shop with people, working, and all the cuppa, and the cafe gears.

Ned: Cool photo technique work and the sketch of the forest came out nice too.

ALL: Hello... and let's keep our finger crossed that we can continue here at CS.
