I have several paintings that I'm considering making into giclees for those wanting something less expensive than an original. My acrylics are pretty much all painted on Masonite panels, so they don't have a native texture, and I don't paint in high impasto style. I do not paint photo-realism, so super high detail is not an issue.
For this type of painting which do you think would be best: canvas or art paper surface?
Would canvas add to much texture of its own for a giclee or would it enhance the look?
