Ps an aunt has been wanting to learn to draw but finding it hard with perfectionism, however has told me today that a link i sent her (sketchbook skool ok YT) has helped and she's loving it now. You helped me with that Wayne, I'm very grateful.
Well grasshopper, close your eyes, open your mind, feel the intense elixer run through you, yell to the heavenly stars, “I can do this”, then hop along grasshopper, hop along.
Joy beat me to it, but I was going to mention Lachri's channel as well. She has a lot of fantastic tutorials, including several full length ones she's been posting lately.
Thanks @TK-HH
I did the zebra from her channel, she's very good. I realised I'd been putting some pressure on myself with the inktense so am having a little break for now. I have fibromyalgia so my body tells me quite quickly if something is off! I'm going to just go back to drawing which I love, when I fancy it and go from there.. "replenish the creative well"! I love going art most days but can feel I need to switch it up sometimes...
Just checking @Joy and @ams on wc tips for paper for inktense when you have a moment... ? I felt a bit flummoxed with choices in the art shop. I have been using 220gsm card but wondering if a wc paper will make a difference. Thank you
Jade, Anne has much more experience than I, but any CP watercolor paper will do, preferably cotton. I have no luck at all with the cellulose papers, but others do.
Thanks @Joy (and for your message earlier re bob, it helped a lot ).
Appreciate the tips.
Do you think I'll notice a difference compared to 220gsm non watercolour
I use watercolor paper with mine. A big plus is that the watercolor paper will take more water and abuse. You can brush over the colors without worrying too much about the water soaking through or pulling up paper fibers.

Jade, I use Canson XL Mixed Media sketchbook but it does it ripple some, especially if you use a lot of water. I only use this because I like the surface for my inking.
If you are just using the inktense without the ink step, good quality watercolor paper would be a good choice.
