Our friends daughter loves to paint and .... I like her work.
She just makes it up, on the spot. She is 9.

She gave this to me today, I just wanted to share it with you all.
I was given permission to post it here by her parents and I will share
any comments you care to make.

I LOVE this! I also love children's art because it just always turns out better than mine. I only wish I could paint like them. They don't think so much.

So I showed Giulia your reply and asked her to comment on your intrinsic ageist
insinuation and she replied...'cosa hanno mai fatto i Romani per noi'?

I still don't get the response. I kinda knew what it meant, but I didn't "get" it. Their verbs go in different places, but I can translate words literally: "what have ever do romans for us." So I wasn't sure of the order of the words. Now that I know, I am not sure of the response. But I guess it's supposed to be funny. Coming from a nine year-old, it's pretty witty.

"Fatto" is do or make. ...I'm pretty sure. It's easy to go to a translator, but I like to challenge myself. It's been such a long time since I've used Italian in my life.
