Old Temple, Sri Ramakrishna Math, Chennai

This is an interior view of the oldest surviving building in the Sri Ramakrishna Math campus at Mylapore, Chennai. It is referred to as the “Old Temple” since a larger and newer one has been built in 2000.

I sketched this with pen and ink, on location, in 2012 when the sketching group that I am a member of visited the place. The lady you see in the sketch, facing away, is one of the group sketching within my sketch.
