Nail Polish

This reference was from a challenge on another site. I thought it would be interesting to try because of all of the different colors and the shiny glass jars. I work with a small 12 pencil set of inktense getting all of these different shades of pinks and reds was a fun challenge.

Inktense (used like watercolor) in XL Mixed Media sketchbook, about 4"x7"

You did a great job on this Anne. It’s a little bit of a different challenge with these type of objects. You’re doing a really good job with the variety of subjects you’re painting.

That's why the good Lord invented high winds, hurricanes, and tornadoes! Sweeps the smells away, and helps dry the picture really fast! (I won't go into debris giving a 3D look!)

We just had a demo artist for our watercolor society that did a mixed media of watercolor and colored pencils. It came out really nice. On my list of things to try....
