Just studying shadows with this fine specimen from the grocery store. He didn't want to share the space with anyone else. 6x6 pastels on scrap of sanded paper mounted to museum board. Unfortunately, my camera did not pick up the background colors but they are there.

Thank you Wayne, Terri, Jo and txomsy. It’s so enjoyable to arrange the lighting and study all the subtle color effects that show up. I need to find something other than a towering stack of cardboard boxes as a model stand, though. Mr. Sumo almost went flying several times.
